35. Gionandrea Pugi Scholarship: The Gionandrea Pugi Scholarship program is providing renewable
scholarships of $5,000 to $10,000 to students of Italian descent who are pursuing studies in the
fields of medicine or biology. Applicants must be currently enrolled college undergraduates of
self-declared Italian descent, with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale). Eligible
applicants must be planning to continue full-time study at an accredited two- or four-year
college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire 2019-20 academic year, and
must be enrolled in studies of biology or medicine (such as taking courses in preparation for
